Schools with 100% vaccination will open on Aug 30

KARACHI Aug 22,2021- Education Minister Sindh Syed Sardar Shah has said that schools with 100% vaccination will open from August 30, schools where teachers have been fully vaccinated will open from August 30.
Speaking at a TV talk show, Syed Sardar Shah said that he will meet the private school organisation tomorrow. It was decided to close schools for another week for two reasons.
Explaining the reasons, Education Minister Sindh said one of the reasons was that 100 per cent of school staff was not vaccinated.
He said that in his report of the private school, 73 per cent of the staff were vaccinated, vaccination in government schools remained high due to the closure of staff salaries.
Sardar Shah said the second reason for closing the school was the fear of corona outbreak after Muharram.
