In Asian countries, including Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong, chickens, cows and even millions of dollars’ worth of apartments are being offered as rewards for vaccinating against coronavirus.
A new wave of corona virus in recent weeks has led to an increase in cases in South Asia, to combat it the authorities have arranged a lucky draw in exchange for vaccinations.
According to British media, in Thailand’s Mai Chime district of Chiang Mai, where most residents deal in livestock, the authorities held a cow prize this month, which is proving to be a successful initiative.
Inkham Thong Kham won a cow worth 320 dollars for the virus vaccine.
