Qurat Baloch’s husband remanded to police custody

HYDERABAD – Jul 22,2021- The husband accused for killing his wife Qurat alias Quratul Ain Baloch has been handed over to the police on a two-day physical remand.

Quratul Ain was allegedly tortured to death by her husband on July 15.

Police said the challan will be submitted in court after the post-mortem report is received.

Umar Memon, who runs a car business, was arrested on Friday on the charges of killing his wife, Quratul Ain alias Aini Buledi, at their home in Barrage Colony Hyderabad.

The murder case was registered at the Baldia police station.

The complainant Asadullah Buledi brother of the victim alleged that his sister, mother of four, was beaten up and then throttled to death by Umar Memon. He claimed that there was a history of issues with Umar, who often subjected her to violence in the house.

A video came to the surface in which daughter narrated what she witnessed.

The suspect is a son of a former irrigation secretary and his wife, in her late 30s, said to sister of a forest official, and had done her MBA.
