PM Shehbaz requests for judicial probe into attack on Imran

LAHORE, Nov5,2022- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif demanded that the investigation into the attack on Imran Khan should be conducted under the supervision of the Chief Justice of Pakistan.

The Prime Minister said that the full court commission of the Supreme Court should investigate the incident, condemning the incident of attack on Imran Khan, Shehbaz Sharif said the sad incident is being blamed and cynicism is being shown.

During a press conference in Lahore, Shehbaz Sharif said that the Chief Justice of Pakistan should form a full court commission to end mischief and temptation.

He said that a full court based commission is useful for the country and the people, if my plea is not accepted, questions will continue to arise in the future.

The Prime Minister further said that there is a request to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to form a full court commission, I will appear in the court whenever you call.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said, “I will soon write a letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan for the full court commission, whatever decision the commission takes, I will accept it”.

He said that he came to know that journalist Arshad Sharif’s mother has not accepted commission appointed by him.

He said that during the visit to China, thanks to Allah, the four-year stalemate was broken, progress was also made on CPEC and other projects.
