People desire Scotland Premier Hamza to visit ancestral town Mian Channu

ISLAMABAD, Mar 31,2023- The new “First Minister” of Scotland, Hamza Yusuf, whose family belongs to Tehsil Mian Channu of  Punjab, Pakistan.

After getting the head of the government of Scotland, the people of his native region in Mian Channu are showing extraordinary enthusiasm and are also telling stories of their ancestors’ connection and association with his grandfather Muhammad Yusuf.

It is also being told that 10 years ago, when Hamza Yusuf came to Mian Channu to attend a wedding, the young people who met him expressed their desire to go to the “province” and now they are expressing their desire that Hamza Yusuf should visit Mian Chanu as the head of Scotland.

People of Mian Channu say that Hamza Yusuf’s family came and settled in a small house in the main market of Mian Chanun in Pakistan at the time of partition and then went to Scotland for employment.

Muhammad Yusuf’s grandson Hamza Yusuf became the First Minister of Scotland at the age of 37. These days his entire family lives in Scotland and now the ruined building of his ancestral home in Mian Channu stands as a landmark.

Stayed in a three marla residence in Rail Bazar. When they thought that living here is difficult and should go abroad to work. He first went to Italy alone in 1955, then moved to Scotland and started making maps.
