PDM to start protests and rallies from October 20: Demands fresh polls

The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) will start nationwide protests and rallies from October 20 and demanded fresh elections.
Talking to media after the PDM meeting on Monday, Maulana Fazlur Rehman rejected the amendment in the NAB Ordinance completely and said, NAB is one of the remnants of dictatorship.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that NAB has always been used as political revenge against the opposition, no accountability is expected from NAB.
Rejecting electoral reforms and electronic voting machine, the PDM chief said that it is another name for RTS, which has brought the government and such government has no right to give formula for free and fair elections in the country.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the borders with Afghanistan and Iran have been closed, which is affecting the people on the border, which should be opened immediately for trade.
He said that we want new elections, if the in House change was acceptable to us, we would have accepted the formula offered by the PPP.
