Pakistan celebrates Eid Milad un Nabi with religious zeal

Like the rest of the country, small and big processions are being held in Karachi in connection with Eid Milad un Nabi.

 During the procession, all routes from Lea Market, Kharadar, Mai Kolachi to MA Jinnah Road will be completely closed for traffic, during which traffic police personnel will be deployed on various roads to assist the citizens.

More than 4,000 officers and personnel are deployed to provide security for the procession, while various processions are being monitored with the help of CCTV cameras, the official sources said.

 Mobile phone service is closed in different parts of the city, while double riding on a motorcycle has also been banned across Sindh for 12 hours.
