Parliament rejected Sindh’s reference against Council of Common Interests (CCI) Census 2017 decision It has been decided to conduct a new census a year later.

On Wednesday, Asad Umar moved a motion in the joint sitting of the Parliament that the joint sitting of the Parliament should be held. Considering the decision of the Council of Common Interests regarding the 2017 census and deciding its fate.

 On this, PPP Senator Taj Haider said that the population of Sindh province was shown to be 30% less in the 2017 census. MQM Senator Faisal Sabzwari said that Karachi has been most affected by the 2017 census and there should be a new census.

 Asad Umar said that during the census, there was a PML-N government in the federation, we had nothing to do with it. The time for conducting audit has passed.
