Pakistani Taliban refuse to extend ceasefire
PESHAWAR, 10,2021- The Pakistani Taliban – TTP has refused to extend the ceasefire, which expired on December 9.
According to sources, the TTP leadership held its meeting somewhere in Afghanistan.
Leading Urdu daily quoting sources familiar with the peace process say the militants want Pakistan to release all their prisoners and send them to Afghanistan.

But the government of Pakistan refused to accept this condition.
TTP leader Noor Wali Mehsud said in an audio message that the Pakistani government had not fulfilled the promises made in the talks.
He said the ceasefire, which ended on Thursday night, would not be extended.
