Our group will meet Imran Khan soon: Jahangir Tareen

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen has said that he will not meet any committee, adding that his group is expected to meet Prime Minister Imran Khan soon.

A number of PTI leaders gathered at his residence with whom Jahangir Tareen appeared in the court.

Talking to media outside the Lahore court, Jahangir Tareen on Thursday, said that some people from Islamabad contacted him at his house a day before Iftar.

“We were assured that our group would meet Prime Minister Imran Khan in a few days. Our group would only meet Imran Khan.  I heard the news of the committee on TV. We were not contacted by any political committee,” Tareen said. ۔

“I have 40 members of the assembly with me. When friends are called, they go in consultation with the group,” he said.
