Nomination forms of Usman Almani, Waheed Abbasi restored

NAUSHEHRO FEROZE: District and Sessions Judge Naushero  Feroze, Mehboob Ali Jawahiri court restored the nomination forms of PPP leaders Usman Khan Almani, Abdul Waheed Abbasi and others in local bodies election.

Hundreds of candidates have filed appeals for reinstatement of nomination forms rejected by the District Election Commission and ROs.

The court of DJ Mehboob Aali Jawahiri in its remarks said that candidates cannot be deprived of their constitutional right on technical grounds.

On the other hand, Justice of Peace Lala M. Hassan Pathan welcome the restoration of nomination forms of candidates, because people cannot be deprived of their constitutional right on technical grounds, eligibility of candidates should be decided by public vote.

Abdul Rahim Abbasi Advocate, Sher Muhammad Ajan, Shakeel Ahmad Abbasi, Muhammad Ayaz Murree, Shaukat Ali Bohio and other lawyers appeared in the court on behalf of petitioners.
