Nasir Shah rebuts opponents criticism Defends PPP
KARACHI (May 21, 2021) Sindh Minister for Information and Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah presented Sindh Protection of Journalists and other media practitioners Bill 2021 in the Provincial Assembly on Friday.
The Information Department has prepared this bill keeping in view the consultation and views of the Federal Union of Journalists, Karachi Union of Journalists, and senior journalists.
At the request of the provincial information minister, the bill was sent to the Standing Committee on Law of the Provincial Assembly, which will review it and submit its report to the assembly within three days.
