NAB gets Siraj Durrani's transit remand

ISLAMABAD Dec 04,2021- The Islamabad Accountability Court (IAC) has allowed the two-day transit remand of Sindh Assembly Speaker, Agha Siraj Durrani, who was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) yesterday.

Earlier, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) presented Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani in the accountability court.

 Accountability Court Islamabad Judge Muhammad Bashir conducted the hearing. During the hearing, the NAB prosecutor requested the court to remand Agha Siraj Durrani for two days.

The NAB prosecutor took the position that Agha Siraj Durrani has an arrest warrant, he will be transferred to Karachi through the first available flight.

NAB team returns after 15 hours without arresting Siraj Durrani

 Judge Muhammad Bashir asked Agha Siraj Durrani if ​​he had anything to say. Agha Siraj Durrani replied that he should be sent to Karachi soon.

Islamabad Accountability Court approved Agha Siraj Durrani’s 2-day transit remand.

 Agha Siraj Durrani would be produced in the Karachi accountability court on Monday.

 Sindh Assembly Speaker, Agha Siraj Durrani was arrested by the NAB outside the Supreme Court  Islamabad on Dec 3.
