Murad starts final of Thar Jeep Rally

MITHI, Jan 16,2022- The Chief Minister of Sindh started the final of the race of Thar Jeep Rally with the car of renowned racer Mir Nadir Magsi.

Famous drivers of the country will run vehicles in Thar Jeep Rally.

Former Chief Minister of Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan, Sahibzada Sultan, Nadir Magsi, Owais Khakwani and four other women are also participating in the competition.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has secially reached Thar to attend the Thar Jeep Rally.

He was accompanied by Sindh Chief Minister special assistant for sports Arbab Lutfullah, Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Shah, Imtiaz Sheikh and other elected representatives from Thar.

Tharparkar Chief Minister Sindh will present prizes to the winners of Thar Jeep Rally and winners of Thar Sports Festival at Gaddi Bhitt, Mithi at 4 pm.

Deputy Commissioner, District Administration, elected representatives will brief the chief minister on the ongoing development works in the district.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah will also inaugurate the new Gaddi Bhitt built near Mithi.

People from all over Pakistan have participated in the Thar Jeep rally.

Speaking on the occasion chief minister said that we will try our best to provide other sports facilities in Thar including full races. Even in the spring, other sports including races can be organized to provide entertainment opportunities to the locals.

Thar Coal royalty

Chief Minister said that Thar Coal royalty will be fully utilised on Thar. In Islamkot electricity bills of up to 100 units will be paid by Sindh government. We believe in the slogan of “Thar Badlega Pakistan”.

Chief Minister said that Sindh government has 54% share in Sindh Engro company, it its dividend will be spent on Thar through Thar Foundation. Electricity through solar system is being supplied in far flung area.

Thar has changed after coal project, CM said.  Mithi will be one of the biggest city of the country, he added.

Various motor companies are also sponsoring this rally.

The Chief Minister continued to make videos of vehicles participating in the race.

There complaints from locals that during preparing Thar Jeep rally track a large number of tree were chopped down, which will affect the environment of this desert, where tree rarely grow,

Earlier, Murad Ali Shah’s visited to Malani House and condoled on the death of MNA Dr Mahesh Malani’s brother Rano Mal.
