Motorway scandal: DC Naushero Feroze three others to be put on ECL

Investigators have recommended to include names of four persons including DC Naushero Feroze in ECL, who are reportedly involved M-6 Mega Motorway scandal.

FIA has recommended the inclusion of DC Naushero Feroze Tashfeen Alam, former DC Matiari Adnan Rasheed, AC New Saeedabad Mansoor Abbasi and branch manager of Sindh Bank Mir Mohammad Suhag in ECL.

After reaching Naushero Feroze to investigate the scandal, the team seized important records from the DC office, the process of recording the statements of employees is ongoing.

Accountant, PA and other revenue employees of DC office Naushero Feroze were called by the investigation team to record the statement.

The investigation team has also taken into custody the records of government land acquisition. Records have also been sought from the National Bank and Sindh Bank.

Makhdoom Mehboob refutes allegations

Provincial Minister Makhdoom Mehboob-ul-Zaman has announced that if it was proved that his family was involved in the Motorway scandal, he will leave politics along with the ministry.

While addressing a press conference in Karachi, Mehboob-ul-Zaman said that the Matiari Motorway scandal is being used to defame Makhdoom Family.

He said that the investigation of the scandal is going on, if there is any evidence against the family, we will be held accountable.
