Sindh has largest number of failures in MD CAT

KARACHI Nov 25,2022-  Sindh has largest number of failures than the other provinces in MD CAT held  under the supervision of Pakistan Medical Commission.

The data obtained by Jang has revealed that 20,152 candidates failed in the test conducted under Dow Medical and Health Sciences, while the number of passed candidates was 22,301 only.

From Punjab, the largest province of the country 7,615 candidates failed while the number of passed candidates was 66,702. The Punjab test was conducted by University of Health Science Lahore.

13,761 candidates from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa failed while the number of passed candidates was 29,764 and the test was conducted by Khyber Medical University.

4,857 candidates failed from Balochistan while the number of passed candidates was 4,054.

1489 candidates from Islamabad, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan failed the test while the number of passed candidates was 17349 and this test was conducted by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad.

According to the data, a total of 204,259 candidates registered for the test while 188,044 candidates participated.

The number of failed candidates was 47874 while the number of passed candidates was 140170.

106,211 candidates passed for MBBS and BDS, while only for BDS 33,959 candidates passed with overall pass ratio of 74.54% and failure ratio of 25.46%.
