The head of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Maulana Fazlur Rehman and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have made contact.

According to sources, the two leaders discussed the current political situation.

Nawaz Sharif expressed satisfaction over the unity of the opposition parties which resulted into the tough time to government in parliament.

According to sources, the two leaders also agreed to increase pressure on the government inside and outside parliament.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman also discussed the formation of the Lahore meeting which would be converted tin to a long march while Nawaz Sharif assured that he would support any decision of the PDM about the long march.

Fazlur Rehman said that giving more time to the government would be an injustice to the people and the country.

According to sources, the two leaders also agreed to go ahead with the PDM’s protest plan.
