Main accused of Saddar blast killed in operation

KARACHI, May 18, 2022- Main accused of Saddar blast case along with his accomplice was killed in the operation of intelligence agency and CTD in Maripur area of Karachi.

Another accused escaped from the scene during the operation of the intelligence agencies, the search for which is underway.

The CTD in-charge said that the two accused killed in the operation were identified as Allah Dino and Nawab. Weapons and explosives were recovered from the possession of the suspects.

CTD in-charge Mazhar Mashwani said the bag found in the terrorists’ possession contained explosives, so the bomb disposal unit was called.

Blast in Saddar Karachi: one person was killed and eight others injured

According to the CTD in-charge, the criminal record of two terrorists is being checked.

It is to be noted that blasts had taken place in Saddar and Kharadar areas of Karachi during the last few days, as a result of which two persons including a woman were killed and several others were injured.

Significant revelations were made in the law enforcement agency’s analytical report on the explosions.

Initial reports suggested that no group has claimed the responsibility of Thursday night’s blast taken place in Saddar area of Karachi, in which one person was killed and eight others injured.

Later Sindh Revolutionary Army claimed the responsibility of Saddar blast.
