KWSB officer shot dead in Manghopir area

A sub-engineer of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) was shot dead by motorcycle-riding suspects in Manghopir area of ​​Karachi West.

According to Mangupir Police, 42-year-old Muhammad Furqan was posted as a sub-engineer at the Hub Canal, which supplies water to Karachi.

The deceased had gone to the filter plant on the reservoir hill to eat as usual and was coming down the hill on a motorcycle when the motorcycle-borne accused attacked him.

The body of Mohammad Furqan was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

According to hospital sources, 42-year-old Furqan was shot in the head with 9 mm pistol bullets.

Mangupir Police said, , two empty shells of 9 mm pistol were also recovered from the crime scene.

According to the police, the deceased’s motorcycle is missing and further investigation is being conducted in this regard.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Karachi West Faisal Bashir Memon, the incident is a targeted skilling.
