Karachi: In one day 3,000 people fell victim to corona

KARACHI, Jan 18,2022- In Karachi, the largest city in the country and Sindh province, 7,099 tests for corona virus were carried out yesterday, out of which 2,754 people were positive corona cases.

Thus, the rate of positive cases of Corona virus in Karachi has risen to 38.79%.

In Hyderabad, the second largest city in Sindh, the rate of corona virus has reached 14%.

Lahore, the second largest city in the country, has recorded 12.87 percent cases of corona virus.

Provinces to decide about schools: Corona threat

In the city of Gujranwala in Punjab, the rate of corona cases reached 15%.

Across the country, including Karachi, children under the age of 16 also began to be infected with the corona virus.

In the last 24 hours, more than 5,034 cases of Corona virus have been reported across the country, 10 more patients have lost their lives in the face of this contagious epidemic, 1,125 more patients have been cured, while positive cases have been reported. The rate came down to 9.45%.

Pakistan ranks 42nd in the list of corona patients, however, the rate of corona cases is steadily increasing here and it has increased to close to 9.5% in the last 24 hours.
