Omicron could change its form

 The Pakistan Medical Association says there is a fear that Omicron could change its form, become more deadly and severe, and that the government should immediately ban political rallies, sit-ins and gatherings.  

Penalties on SOPs violators urged

The PMA said that fines and penalties should be imposed on those who do not comply with SOPs and vaccination cards should be checked in shopping malls, hotels and restaurants.

Karachi: In one day 3,000 people fell victim to corona

According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 5,034 more cases of corona virus have been reported in Pakistan in the last 24 hours, with 10 more patients dying of the disease. Lost, another 1,125 patients were cured, while the positive case rate dropped to 9.45%.
