ISLAMABAD DEC 20,2021- JUI becomes the largest party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local bodies elections.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), said that time has proved today that the previous elections were rigged and added that there have never been any allegations of corruption on the JUI.

 Talking to the media, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that propagandists against politicians are thousand times more corrupt than them.

“Let us move forward. We will run country better than them”.  Marlana said and added that preparations are being made for March 23. Stopping a party, controlling these things have lasted,” he said.

According to unofficial results: In local bodies elections in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, JUIF leading 19 Tehsils in the first phase of elections, three out of four In major cities – Peshawar, Bannu and Kohat, the JUI candidates are also ahead, while in Mardan, the Awami National Party (ANP) is at the leading.

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s PTI had to face defeat of Maulana Fazlur Rehman on home ground, JUIF candidate Sher Zaman won in Kohat, Maulana Fazlur Rahman’s candidate in Peshawar and Bannu came close.

PTI leaders accepted defeat

According to Daily Jang, PTI leaders Shabali Faraz, Shaukat Yousufzai, Atif Khan and Shahram Tarakai accepted defeat of their party in LB polls.
