If election not announced within 6 days, Imran Khan will return to Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf – PTI chairman Imran Khan has given the government six days to dissolve the assemblies and announce election.

Addressing the workers at Jinnah Avenue Islamabad, Imran Khan said that if the election was not announced and assemblies were not dissolved, he would return to Islamabad with the people.

He said that the government was leading the country towards anarchy. Two PTI workers were martyred at the behest of the government.

Imran Khan said that all sorts of methods were used to thwart his “Azadi Movement”, the way the workers fought tear gas was unprecedented.

Chairman PTI said that thousands of people including our leaders and workers have been arrested. The Supreme Court should notice of the arrests and the tear gas shelling at D- Chowk, Liberty Chowk.

Imran Khan’s caravan had entered Islamabad at 11 pm on Wednesday. Earlier, Imran Khan had directed the workers to reach D-Chowk.

After Imran Khan’s announcement, PTI workers entered the red zone by removing all obstacles at D-Chowk. Some workers reached in front of the Presidency and near the Diplomatic Enclave.

PTI workers have also crossed the last barrier at D-Chowk. Rangers personnel were also injured in the incident.

PTI workers have also reached in front of the Presidency while Imran Khan has left Jinnah Avenue for Bani Gala.

Imran Khan and other leaders have also left from Jinnah Avenue.

Rana Sanaullah’s response

Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that if Imran Khan brings 600,000 people in six days, I will support his demand.

Talking to media in Islamabad, Rana Sanaullah said that the decision of new election will be taken by the coalition parties. If Imran Khan loses the election then he will ask for re-election.
