Heavy monsoon rains forecast in Sindh
Pakistan likely to get 10 to 20 % less rains in monsoon
The Meteorological Department has forecast monsoon rains in Sindh for July, August and September.
According to Meteorological Department, monsoon rains in Punjab and Sindh will be above normal.
The first phase of the monsoon is expected to last from July 1 to mid-August and the last phase from mid-August to the end of September.
140.8 mm in the country during July to September. 8 mm of rain is expected.
Heavy rains are expected in Sindh, Punjab, Azad Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during this period.
Abundant availability of water for power sector will have an effective effect.
