Five more arrested in Bahria Town rioting case
KARACHI, (June 22, 2021): Rangers while conducting riads in different areas arrested five nationalist activists on charges of rioting in Bahria Town sin-in.
A Rangers spokesman said the arrested suspects had recently been involved in looting, arson and intimidation in the Bahria Town. The arrested persons were identified as Amir Abbasi, Mashuq Ali, Shafqat alias Comrade Deshi, Pervez Arejo and Haider Abbas.
According to the spokesperson, Sanaan Khan Qureshi, Pervez Bughio, Abdul Rauf Kathio, Habib Golo, Ali Hassan Walijo and Sadruddin Thaheem were already arrested.
According to the Rangers spokesperson, the suspects entered the navy along with their accomplices as planned. The suspects were carrying iron pipes, inflammable materials and sticks.
