Federal govt should talk directly, not thru Governor, Murad Shah

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that the federal government should talk to him directly, not through the governor.

While talking to media Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that Corona vaccine is being bought by the federal government and given to the provinces.

The Prime Minister had directed the provinces at the NCOC meeting to expedite the vaccination process and we want to vaccinate 10.8 million people in the next three months.

Replying to a question, he said that Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had said that Bani Gala has been regularized but houses of Gujjar Nala residents are being demolished.

There is a clear decision of the Supreme Court for Nasla Tower. The Supreme Court has directed the builder to pay compensation to the residents.

In response to another question, he said that if Saudi Arabia does not accept our vaccine, it is a failure of our foreign policy.

Three days back Governor Sindh Imran Ismail had called upon Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah to work together to ensure tragedies are averted during this year’s monsoon rains, assuring him of the Centre’s “fullest assistance” in the matter.
