ISLAMABAD Jan 11,2022 – The federal government has decided to approach the Lahore High Court against opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif.

In a media briefing after the federal cabinet meeting, Fawad Chaudhry said that the government has decided to approach the Lahore High Court against Shehbaz Sharif if former prime minister Nawaz Sharif does not return.

He said that the cabinet had directed the attorney general to approach the court against the opposition leader and PML-N president in case of non-return of Nawaz Sharif.

The Federal Minister for Information further said that Nawaz Sharif left the country through fraud, the former Prime Minister had not received any treatment for 17 months.

He said that Nawaz Sharif’s family was contacted by the Pakistan High Commission but he refused to give reports.

Fawad Chaudhry said that the reports sent by Nawaz Sharif have been rejected by the Punjab government.

He said that Shehbaz Sharif, the personal guarantor of Nawaz Sharif, was fully involved in the fraud and the court would be requested to disqualify the Leader of Opposition for not bringing back the former Prime Minister.
