FBR introduces new tax return forms for Tax Year 2024

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) has imposed regulatory duty on the import of more than 80 luxury items including chocolates, drinks, coffee and stationery, which has been divorced since July 1.

  • Duty on fish, imported butter, honey 30%, vegetables, coconut, stress fruit, imported pear, cherry, peach, pomegranate, mushrooms, potatoes, olives jams, fruit jellies increased,
  • Import duty increased on pineapples imported cigars and cigarettes

Regulatory duty and additional customs duty on import of 599 items have been changed.

The FBR has issued notification number RO 840 (1) 2021, according to which regulatory duty and additional customs duty on import of 599 items have been changed. ۔

The regulatory duty on jaggeryi (Gur) exports has been reduced from 15% to 10%, the additional customs duty on 2436 tariff lines has been reduced from 20% to 6% and 7%.

The FBR also issued a notification extending the exemption from customs duty, additional customs duty and regulatory duty on 61 medical devices and equipment used to treat Corona till December 31, 2021.

In addition, duty reduction or complete exemption has been given on import of raw materials related to textile industry, HRC of steel and 328 imported raw materials and semi-finished goods.

Regulatory duty on fish and fish products 10%, frozen fish 35%, imported butter and other dairy spreads, honey 30%, imported vegetables 10%, coconut 20%, stress fruit 25%, imported pear, cherry, peach, pomegranate, 35%, apple 30% Other fresh fruits were subject to 30 per cent regulatory duty, mushrooms 20 per cent, potatoes 55 per cent, olives 30 per cent, jams, fruit jellies, 20 per cent, pineapples 50 per cent, imported cigars and cigarettes 20 per cent.
