Farewell for retiring Prof Ghulam Abbas Shar

KHAIRPUR, Jan 03,2022- A farewell reception was hosted by the Vice Chancellor Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto in the honor of Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences Prof. Dr. Ghulam Abbas Shar on attaining his age of superannuation as a professor.

Speaking to the participants, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto remarked that he always guided me in the strengthening the academic and research culture at the University. He remained a good member of my team. Dr. Ibupoto said the retirement is the part of the life. I am optimistic that Dr. Shar will continue his research activities for the benefit of community and nation.

VC orders reclaim land of Shadi Shaheed campus

Prof. Dr. Ghulam Abbas Shar said he started career as lecturer in the Chemistry subject at the Govt. Degree College, Moro. He said he strengthened the Department of Chemistry by providing scientific equipments and remained the first Director ORIC.

A large number of teachers and research scholars attended the reception.
