WHO provides 55 scooties for female vaccinators

KARACHI, May 30,2024: World Health Organization (WHO) has provided 55 new scoties for female vaccinators to Immunization Program Sindh.

The World Organization also gave a one-month training to women vaccinators to drive scooties, after which these scooties were handed over to EPI, which will save women vaccinators from the hassle of transportation for child vaccination.

A ceremony was organized on Monday at a local hotel which was attended by Provincial Health Minister Dr. Ezra Fazal Pechuho, Sindh Health Secretary Rehan Iqbal Baloch, World Health Organization Representative in Pakistan Luda Peng, World Health Organization Dr. Sara Salman, Project Director of Safety Vaccinations Sindh Dr. Mohammad Naeem, Director General Health Sindh Dr. Waqar Memon, Director Health Services Karachi Dr. Saqib Shaikh, Additional Director of Lady Health Workers Program Sindh Dr. Khalid Memon, CEO Sindh Integrated Emergency and Health Services Brig (Rtd) Tariq Qadir Lakhir, Indus Hospital and Health Network Founder Dr. Abdul Bari, IRD Advisor Dr. Muhammad Akram Sultan .
