ECP summons Rana Tanveer Hussain, Meher Bano Qureshi

The Election Commission of Pakistan – ECP has issued notices to Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain and Meher Bano Qureshi, daughter of former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

The Election Commission ordered Rana Tanveer to be barred from entering and visiting the constituency during the NA-118 Nankana Sahib by-election campaign.

The Election Commission also issued an order to the DC and DPO to stop the entry of Rana Tanveer and other public officials into the constituency.

District Monitoring Officer Nankana also issued a notice to Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain.

Election Commissioner Punjab said that action will be taken according to the law after visiting the constituency.

Chief Election Commissioner takes notice of Shah Mehmood’s press conference

The spokesperson of the Election Commission said that provincial minister Akhtar Malik has been warned for violating the code of conduct during the by-election campaign in NA-157 Multan.

The District Monitoring Officer also issued a notice to NA-157 Multan by-election candidate Meher Bano Qureshi for violating the code of conduct.
