Sindh government decide to administer cut to Manchhar Lake , after flood water continue to pour into it and water level was rising and over topping the dykes.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that there was severe water pressure on the dyke of Manchhar Lake, there was a danger of drowning the city.

The Chief Minister has issued a statement regarding the cut at Manchhar Lake.

He said that RD 14 has been cut, which is affecting 5 union councils. The Chief Minister of Sindh further said that efforts are being made to save Saeedabad and Sehwan.

It should be noted that Manchhar lake was cut off at Bagh Yusuf location.

the RD 14 in Manchar Lake has been taken to save the towns, the cut has been given at the place where the Chief Minister has his own house.

Talking to the media in Hyderabad, he said that 5 UCs Wahar, Bobak, Azari, Jafarabad and Chana will be affected due to the cut of Manchhar Lake. This will affect 1.25000 people who will be relocated.

Sharjeel Memon  said that government machinery is in place to evacuate people, UC Bajara and Jhangara are already affected, a large part of taluk Sehwan will be badly affected by the floods.

He said that 1,06094  cattle have died so far due to floods, there are more than 6,00,000 people in relief camps.

Sharjeel Memon said that 1,45000 ration bags have been ordered to utility stores while 8 thousand bags have been received, it has been decided that ration will be taken from private vendors.

Sindh Information Minister has said that currently 23 districts have been severely affected, to prevent epidemics, it has been decided to set up medical camps in every relief camp, emergency has been imposed in all hospitals.
