ECP summons Imran Khan to appear in person

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on September 27 to appear in person.

The Election Commission has also summoned Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry in person.

The Election Commission has summoned the answers submitted by the three leaders in a personal capacity, describing them as unsatisfactory.

Sources say that the Election Commission has issued show cause notices to Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry and Imran Khan.

PTI received prohibited funds: ECP announces unanimous decision

Reports said that Imran Khan could not submit his reply to the Election Commission within the stipulated time.

It should be noted that PTI leaders have been summoned on the issue of insulting the Election Commission and the Chief Election Commissioner.
