Nine Zero may be demolished if building found unfit

Probe into fire incident Zero started

The investigation into the fire at Nine Zero, the former headquarters of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), has started.

Director General Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) directed the authorities to inspect the house.

Director General SBCA directed that an inspection should be conducted to see if the house is habitable after the fire.

The SBCA said the building has become dangerous after the fire.

Nine Zero former headquarters of the MQM caught fire on September 9.

Deputy Commissioner District Central Talha Saleem says that SBCA’s job is to inspect and decide, if SBCA declares the building unfit, it will be demolished.
