DSP Murtaza Rahu injured in Karachi

KARACHI Dec 13,2021- Deputy Superintendent of Police – DSP was injured in a firing incident on Monday in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of ​​Karachi.

 According to SP Gulshan-e-Iqbal Dr. Abdul Khaliq, the incident took place near Perfume Chowk in Gulistan-e-Jauhar within the limits of Shara Faisal Police Station.

DSP Ghulam Murtaza Rahu, posted in Police Security Zone 2, is a resident of Rufi Green City Apartments near Perfume Chowk in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.

He had just left home with his family in plain clothes when the accused on a motorbike at Perfume Chowk allegedly tried to rob him and shot him when he offered resistance.

According to police, Ghulam Murtaza Rahu was immediately shifted to nearby Darul Sahat Hospital.

According to doctors, his condition is out of danger. Ghulam Murtaza Rahu has been shot in the leg and has been given medical treatment.

According to police sources, the injured DSP is the brother-in-law of Sindh Minister Ismail Rahu, who was promoted from inspector to DSP on January 6 this year. Police are investigating the incident.
