Dr Asif Ali Memon appointed as chairman Sindh Revenue Board

The Government of Sindh has appointed Dr Asif Ali Memon as chairman Sindh Revenue Board for a period of three years.

Dr. Memon is from Cumtom Group and has served on senior positions in Pakistan Custom and Federal Revenue Board.

He was appointed as Senior Member of Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) in April 2021 and was also looking after the charge of Legal wing of the SRB,

Last week, the panel chaired by Chief Secretary Sindh, Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah interviewed the six candidates for the appointment of new Chairman Sindh Revenue Board.

The candidates include retired senior officers of FBR Inland Revenue, Customs and a retired Sindh government bureaucrat.

Former Chief Collector of Pakistan Customs Service Dr. Saifuddin Junejo and Wasif Memon, Former FBR Inland Revenue Service member Operation Seema Shakeel, former Chief Commissioner Badar Qureshi and Chief Commissioner Ashfaq Tunio have been interviewed for the post of Chairman Sindh Revenue Board, sources said.
