Reports said that Ishaq Dar and President Arif Alvi also discussed the next general elections.
Ishaq Dar is from PMLN and lose associate of Mian Nawaz Sharif, while President Arif Alvi belong to PTI.
Help sought to implement IMF agreement
Sources said that cooperation was discussed with Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments to reduce the import bill, while cooperation was also sought from the opposition to implement the IMF agreement.
According to sources, cooperation with Tehreek-e-Insaaf has also been discussed to bring political stability in the country.
In this regard, the sources say that in the meeting, the President has promised to talk to the leadership of PTI.
