KARACHI Aug 12,2022- The Sindh High Court has said in its remarks that foreigners have occupied Scheme 33 and made it a no-go area. Foreigners are occupying area beyond Sohrab Goth.

The two-member bench rejected the report of Deputy Commissioner East Karachi and directed to carry out an operation to get back the society’s land within 45 days.

A hearing was held before a two-member bench headed by Justice Syed Hassan Azhar Rizvi on a petition related to vacate the occupation encroachment of a private housing society in Scheme 33.

Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi remarked that Scheme 33 was created in Karachi. In Karachi, foreigners have occupied the lands of Pakistanis. Beyond Sohrab Goth, foreigners have occupied the plots of citizens.

In the Bijnor Housing Society case, Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi remarked that whether Scheme 33 is not an area of some others land? If a criminal hides there, then nothing can be done? Judge asked.

Deputy Commissioner East said that the help of police and rangers is required.
