LAHORE: A complete lockdown is enforced in Lahore today. According to the announcement of the Punjab government, there will be all the small and big markets of the city will remain closed, and only certain businesses are allowed to open.The Punjab government had announced two days of complete lockdown in Lahore on Saturday and Sunday due to increasing cases of Corona.
The shopping plaza on MA Jinnah Road in Karachi was sealed for violating Corona SOPs.
Shops sealed in Karachi
In Saddar, 100 mobile shops, 2 saloons and 3 garment shops were sealed while more than 250 shops near Aram Bagh were sealed.
In Lyari, two transport offices and several shops were sealed and a fine of Rs 32,000 was imposed.
It should be noted that in the last week of April, the rate of corona positive cases in Karachi, Hyderabad was recorded in double digits.
According to the Sindh Health Department, the rate of corona was recorded at 10.81 per cent in Karachi from April 23 to 29, while in Hyderabad it was recorded at 16.82 per cent during April 23 to 29.
