Complete lockdown in Lahore on Saturday, Sunday
LAHORE: The Punjab capital Lahore will have a full lockdown on Saturday and Sunday in view of the rapid spread of the global outbreak of the Corona virus.
Commissioner Lahore, Muhammad Usman said that businesses and markets will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, while medical stores, petrol pumps, vaccination centers will remain open.
According to Commissioner Lahore, inter-provincial transport will be banned on Saturday and Sunday.
He urged citizens to purchase essential items today.
The rate of Corona positive cases in Lahore reached 27.79 per cent, whereas in Lahore the Corona positive cases were 14 per cent.
According to the Health Department of Punjab, 3904 tests were done in Lahore in 24 hours, 1085 came positive.
In 24 hours, 18000 962 tests were done in Punjab, 2296 came out positive.
