Bilawal Bhutto inaugurates Phulei Canal rehabilitation project

Tando Muhammad Khan (May 26, 2021): Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari inaugurated the project to rehabilitate Phulei Canal on 30 Mile Cross Regulator.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was briefed by Sindh Irrigation Minister Sohail Sial along with Sindh Irrigation and Drainage Authority MD Pritam Das and Chairman Left Bank Canals Area Water Board Kabul Mohammad Khatian.

He was told that the rehabilitation project which will irrigate 1.5 million acres of agricultural land in Tando Muhammad Khan and Badin districts.

Bilawal Bhutto visited Phuleli Canal Rehabilitation Project to ensure water supply in the lower areas of the two districts, which will be completed at a cost of Rs 3.5 billion.

He was accompanied by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Local Government Minister Nasir Shah.
