Assistant Commissioner’s salary stopped for non compliance of court orders
FAISALABAD: Due to non-implementation of the court order, the salary of Assistant Commissioner Faisalabad City was stopped.
Additional Sessions Judge Naveed-uz-Zaman ordered the District Accounts Officer to withhold the salary of Assistant Commissioner Faisalabad City.
The order said that the Assistant Commissioner City was asked to confiscate and sell the property of the accused and deposit the amount in the public treasury.
The order said that a show cause notice was also issued to the Assistant Commissioner City, but he did not respond.
It may be recalled that the accused in the Madina Town drug case was sentenced to a fine and it was said that the amount of the fine should be auctioned off the property of the accused and deposited in the national treasury.
