Ali Amin Gandapur's brother declared ineligible

ISLAMABAD, Feb 07,2022- Ali Amin Gandapur’s brother candidate Umar Amin Gandapur has been declared ineligible by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

The ECP pronounced the verdict in the Ali Amin Gandapur case regarding the local body elections. The Chief Election Commissioner read out the brief verdict.

The Election Commission barred Ali Amin Gandapur from participating in the local body election campaign, however, the ECP has lifted the ban on Ali Amin Gandapur’s visit to Dera Ismail Khan.

Ali Amin Khan Gandapur is a ruling party PTI leaders and Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The ECP in its decision said that Ali Amin Gandapur will be able to participate in domestic celebrations, but if he violates it again, strict action will be taken against him.
