Abductee recovered from govt office in Karachi

KARACHI Oct 02,2021- In a raid, an abductee from Pirabad was recovered from the DG Excise office in Karachi. Three persons were taken into custody during the operation.

According to police, the family of the abductee had claimed that a huge amount as ransom had been demanded from them.

Police officials said that a man was abducted from his house in Pirabad, Karachi two days ago and a case was registered at Pirabad police station on the complaint of the abductee’s son.

The FIR includes sections of kidnapping and robbery.

When the investigation of the case started, the location of the abductee was traced inside the office of DG Excise and Taxation on I.I Chandragar Road.

A heavy contingent of Karachi West Police’s Peerabad, Mominabad and Investigation Department cordoned off the excise office.

Body found in a cargo drum identified

Police officials jumped over the wall and entered the office. The abductee was rescued during a search of the office.

The police also arrested three persons present there.

The Excise Department did not comment on the police operation as yet.
