17 opposition MPAs booked for incident outside Balochistan Assembly

QUETTA, (June 20, 2021): Quetta, police registered a case against 17 MPAs of the opposition in Balochistan Assembly. On the other hand, no progress could be made on the opposition’s request to file a case against the Chief Minister Balochistan and police officers.

The case against the opposition MPAs was registered on the complaint filed by the SHO of Bijli Road police station.

According to the text of the case, during the budget session of provincial assembly on Friday, the opposition members along with their supporters forcibly closed the assembly gate, clashed with the policemen, attacked them and tore their uniforms, injuring five policemen.

Police have started an investigation into the incident.
