15 districts of Punjab declared high risk: Spread of Corona

LAHORE 03,2021- In view of the spread of Corona virus in Punjab, smart lockdown has been imposed in 15 districts.

The provincial government has issued a notification declaring 15 districts of Punjab as high risk.

According to the notification, restrictions related to corona virus will remain in force in high risk districts from today till September 12.

The high risk districts of Punjab included Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Khanewal, Mianwali and Sargodha.

According to the notification, Gujranwala, Rahim Yar Khan, Gujarat, Sialkot, Khushab, Sheikhupura, Bahawalpur and Bhakkar are also included in the list of high risk districts. 

According to Punjab Health Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch, business activities in high risk districts will continue till 8 pm while Saturday and Sunday will be observed as safe days.

Sindh bans Indoor & outdoor events in corona sprawling cities

He further said that indoor dining will be completely banned during this period while outdoor dining will be available till 10 pm.

According to the Punjab Health Secretary, indoor weddings will be completely banned while outdoor weddings will be with 300 people.
