Written test made mandatory for recruitment in govt jobs: Saeed Ghani
KARACHI (June 5, 2021): Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has said that the Sindh government has initiated measures for compulsory written tests from reputable institutions for recruitment in all departments from Grade 5 and above employees. Written tests will be conducted through reputable institutions.
Benazir Mazdoor cards are being issued to the labours and so far more than 6000 workers have been issued the cards through NADRA.
Saeed Ghani said, more than 6 lakh SESSI registered workers will be issued cards within a year. He expressed these views during a meeting of CC’s governing body on Saturday, discussing different agendas.
The Labour Department has opened corona vaccine centers in all the hospitals and dispensaries operated under SESSI under the auspices of the Health Department where any one can get vaccinated by showing ID card.
He said that Dow University Health and Sciences and Kiran Hospital have been placed on the SESSI panel to further expand the health services of the employees registered under SESSI.
