World War III has begun, noted economist Nouriel Roubini

KARACHI, Nov 2,2022-  Renowned economist Nouriel Roubini has claimed that looking at the current situation in the world, it can be said that the new world war has effectively started in Ukraine and space.

Last week, the New York University professor was interviewed by the German journalist Ashpagal, in which he pointed out the problems facing the world.

Speaking at a recent event organized by the International Monetary Fund, Nouriel Roubini quoted historian Niall Ferguson as saying that it would be our fortune to face an economic crisis like the 1970s, not that of a war like the 1940s.

Referring to major global threats, Roubini mentioned the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine and said that Iran and Israel are also moving on a collision course.

He said that I read a few days ago that the Biden administration is expecting China to attack Taiwan without delay. He said that the third world war has effectively started, everything including trade, finance, technology and internet will be divided into two parts.

Nouriel Roubini said that some time ago I had a conversation with the president of an African country and I asked him, why you are taking 5G technology from China instead of the West? He replied that we are a small African country. If you are a small country, take technology from the West or from China; Spying is something we have to do anyway; So why don’t we buy cheap technology from China?

US and Europe may not be able to deal with the problems

Nouriel Roubini said that the political systems in the US and Europe may not be able to deal with the problems that would allow right-wing conservative parties to come to power.

It should be remembered that Nouriel Roubini’s popularity was due to his prediction of the financial crisis in 2008 and 2009, and for this reason he was named “Doctor Doom” by Wall Street. (News Desk)
