Karachi to face 165 million gallons of water shortage
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan Coordinating Committee is considering the name of Administrator Karachi.
Sources said that the names of MQM Coordinating Committee members Abdul Waseem and Dr Saif-ur-Rehman are under consideration. Abdul Waseem is a former National Assembly member from MQM.
Sources said that under the MQM-PPP agreement, the administrators of Karachi and Hyderabad are to be replaced.
Sindh Govt releases huge development fund for Karachi
Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab was appointed in August 2021.
Sources said that some MQM leaders suggested the name of Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman, a Grade 20 officer, who is the Principal Secretary to the Governor of Sindh.
Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman has also been the former Municipal Commissioner Karachi and Deputy Commissioner Central District.
