The US has announced a new Afghan fund to help the Afghan people.
According to the US State Department, 35 billion dollars have been allocated in the Afghan fund, this money is not for the Taliban but for the benefit of the Afghan people.
The State Department said that the plan will help manage Afghan bank reserves and the Afghan economy, and will continue to monitor the Afghan fund in accordance with law.
The U.S. State Department said the Taliban are not part of the plan, and the U.S is still the largest donor of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
The State Department also said assistance is being provided by the US Department of State, the Treasury Department and other global partners.
